Review:
Pros:
- The material that the index is made out of is ,imo, perfect for this. It's very thin and very durable! This makes it really easy to carry around .
- The routine provided is very strong and very well explained. Someone can name any card they want to and you had it already predicted before they said anything! This is not the only thing you can do with the index, you can do many other effects but no other effects are really explained in the instructions, you'll have to think of them yourself
- The tutorial is well shot and again, the explanations are very clear.
- You get two indexes which I was quite surprised about especially when looking at the price! Both the indexes are exactly the same but slightly different colours.
- The number of routines you can perform with this is limited by your imagination!
- When pulling billets out of the index, it's really smooth and the billets never 'jam' or anything like that , making the removal smooth and unnoticeable.
- They've incorporated another design element in the index so that the billets won't fall out in your pocket whilst in the index, I thought this was a very good addition.
Cons:
- This will be very hard to work in skinny jeans, normal jeans with normal pocket will be fine, but I think in skinny jeans it will look awkward doing the "work".
- You're going to have to more or less dedicated one pocket per index. So if you are doing the routine provided in the download, then two of your pockets will get taken up.
- This isn't for someone who wants a self working effect, using this gimmick will take practice if you haven't used it before
- The ideal size of the billets that you can use are about half the size of a post it note, I wish I could have had slightly bigger billets but then the index would be too thick. You can use bigger billets but the index will be thicker
Overral:
This is a solid prop, everything advertised about this is true and it is really well made. If you want an index then I think this is the best for the price by a long run.
