Today I will be reviewing a rather old (and, in my opinion, overlooked) item called "PRESSURE By Dominic Reyes". The link to the description of the effect and where you can purchase it is here : PRESSURE BY DOMINIC REYES - LINK
REVIEW;
Now what initially intrigued me about this item is the in the spectators hand version which Dynamo performs on the second link that I have given. This version is only possible with the PK Pro Edition but if you already have a PK gimmick, you can buy the regular version (£10 cheaper) and easily work out how to perform the in the spectators hands version.
PROS:
- The in the spectators hand version is incredibly strong and has gotten great reactions
- The gimmick is fully examinable with nothing to find for the spectator
- Many handlings are shown so you can find one that suits you.
- The gimmick can be kept in your wallet or pocket without taking up much pocket space (it's just a coin)
- Gimmick will last a lifetime as there is nothing that can be broken, no moving parts etc.
CONS:
- The in the spectators hands version will take a bit of audience management as the spectator needs to keep his hand still prior to his other hand being placed on top of the coins.
- The extra cost of the PK Pro edition is a bit too much for what you get IMO.
- The 1p is flush against the 50p, I would have liked it if it was not flush and rather one half of the 1p to stick out of the 50p.
- The instructions are on paper - this isn't really a big con but its harder to follow moves when they are just pictures.
WILL I USE IT?
YES! I am currently using the in the spectators hand version and it is getting great reactions! I suggest you guys get this just for the in the spectators hand version!
