REVIEW:

PROS:

- First and foremost, I think the impact of this effect on a spectator is incredibly strong and that's mainly for one reason, which is they think of a card instead of picking it out if a deck! When I performed this for some of my friends, a lot of then said it me after the effect had finished "how did you know what card I was thinking of, I didn't even take it out of the deck!" Or something along those lines. I think for this reason this effect will be remembered by your spectators more than say an ambitious card trick or a 'pick a card' trick.

- The one question you will have to ask to gain the information you need to cut to their card is a lot less convoluted than I thought it would be. I thought you would need to ask multiple questions but due to the way the routine is designed you only need to ask one question to be able to cut to their card.

- The effect comes nearly ready made, you just need to do a few things to the cards and you'll be ready to perform. No arts and crafts are needed, just your hands and the cards and it doesn't take much time.

- The effect also comes with three additional gimmicked cards that you can use with 'Bang on' envelopes. This will allow you to place an envelope down before hand, you spread the deck and the spectator thinks of a card and whatever card they are thinking of is in the envelope.

- The tutorial is very well shot as you would expect and it goes into good detail on how to perform the effect!

- Another small plus in the effect is that you can show all the cards to be different before proceeding with the effect! I think this is a great little convincer!

CONS:

- You will need to carry around a single gimmicked deck for this, and it will only be able to perform this effect.

- Occasionally you will need to "rework" certain cards in the deck to be able to do the effect.

- The trailer and ad copy leave out a couple of things : 1) you have to ask one question before cutting the deck 2) when the spectator cuts the deck it is not 100% certainty that they have cut to the correct card.

- After the deck wears out, youll need to buy another one for the same price.

Overral, I think if you like the effect and don't mind the one question being asked, then go for it! This is a very strong effect and I don't believe you will be disappointed!
